MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING
Mental Health Matters!
Every single one of us is a combination of physical and mental health
Our bodies and minds are interconnected and influence each other
We will all experience times when our physical health and mental health are poor.
1 in 4 of us will experience mental health issues every year
Half of mental ill health starts by the age of 15 and 75% develops by age 18
An estimated 17 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in 2021/22
Mental Health training is crucial in:
- educating ourselves so we know more about looking after ourselves and others
- opening up the conversation about mental health
- reducing the stigma and discrimination associated with mental ill health
- helping to shape a healthier workplace with a thriving culture
